Byars Funeral Home is a family-owned business with great care given to each family we serve.
Pre-planning a funeral service tremendously relieves the emotional and financial stress associated with funeral planning. We offer a
free family planning portfolio to complete in the privacy of your own home. Marty Byars, owner of Byars Funeral Home, is also a
licensed insurance agent, which allows him to assist with all pre-arrangement requirements of your family.
Marty L. Byars began his funeral service career in 1977. His family was in the funeral service business and he realized his calling at
an early age. Marty is a 1982 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
He also has a B.S. Degree in psychology and counseling from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Marty has
been deeply involved with public and civic activities and giving back to the community with his time and money. His activity
involvement includes:

North on Georgia 400 to Exit 15 turn Left and through the 5th traffic light staying on Hwy 20 West. Turn on the first road on the left (Samaritan Drive) take next road on the right on to Professional Park Dr. The building is at the top of the hill on the right. Mileage from GA 400 is about 1-½ miles to building.
